 FAQs

  • Yes, we are Swan Hill’s ONLY accommodation located right on the river. You can fish from under your van’s awning or straight off your cabin’s deck. We are located at the junction of the Murray River and Little Murray right in the centre of town.

  • Check-in is 2pm for cabins unless by prior arrangement or where possible and 12pm for sites.

  • Check-out time is 10am unless by prior arrangement or where possible.

  • Walking to Campbell Street which is the main street for Swan Hill is only 750 metres and under 10 minutes.

    2 minutes if travelling by car.

  • The Murray River is great for fishing and canoe activities but a little too shallow for waterskiing.

    Boat ramp access is located only 1km from the park. Boats can be left in the river throughout your stay (at owners risk) and we have a storage area where trailers can be parked.

    This doesn’t mean you have to leave the ski boat at home, if you wish to wakeboard or ski we recommend using one of the multiple Lakes located only a short 15 minute drive from us.

  • Yes, all pillows, towels and linen free of charge for the cabins. We do ask that you bring your own pool towel.

  • YES – we are dog friendly with a few restrictions in place to preserve the balance for all visitors. Dogs are only permitted at the park on sites in your own van or tent and our 1 dog friendly cabin. *Note: All dogs must be declared at time of booking with Park Management BEFORE bringing your dog into the park.

  • All our 112 sites all have power and water (which is potable).

  • There is a communal Camp Kitchen/BBQ area, solar heated outdoor resort style swimming pool, pump track, games room, laundry facilities (coin operated) and a café on site open everyday 8am until 3pm.

    Located right next to our Holiday Park is the local park which has flying foxes, a skate park, swings and climbing structures. Plus, walking and cycling tracks along the river and wetlands.

  • Fires are not permitted in the park. This is non-negotiable.

    Gas and electric are the only cooking and heating sources allowed.

  • Please contact reception to organise a late arrival procedure. All fees must be paid prior to arrival.

  • Yes, we have a BBQ boat that is available for hire. All you need to be able to drive it is a valid full driver’s licence

    It can have up to 12 people (this includes children).

  • Murray Cod are the prized catch for most fisherman, we have had multiple Cod caught over the magic metre mark right off the bank in front of the caravan sites.

    Yellow Belly and Catfish can also be caught at the right times of year and the local lakes have massive numbers of Red Fin.
